Introduction:
V40 welcomes only core competence of the members.
Members:
Every Member is expected to have a Royal Enfield bike of his or her own. 100 points to be accumulated by every member and an overnight ride with the group is mandatory to become eligible for a full fledged membership of the group.
Bike:
Royal Enfield pushroders are the expected bikes here. Members are expected to keep their bikes in very good motorable shape, so that break-downs during the rides are minimal. Just in case a bike break downs and the group is held up on account of that during a ride, the respective member shall sponsor ‘chai’ etc at the next re-group point.
Recruit:
All people joining the club will be termed ‘Recruits’. A Rider can stay as a recruit for as long as he/she wishes, subject to meeting the expressed or implied guidelines of the Club.
Points:
10 points – for every meeting attended.
20 points – for every over night ride with the club (Unavoidable to become a member initially)
Eligibility to become a Full Member:
All recruits must accumulate 100 points to become a full fledged Member. Points accumulated must include atleast one overnight ride.
His/Her Membership must also be proposed by one member, seconded by another and agreed to by all other existing members in the club. In case there is objection from 3 or more. The recruit doesn’t become a V40 member.
