Ride to Pondy on the 9 & 10 Dec (Weekend)

The Bangalore guys are joining us....

I hope many guys turn up since its not tooo far and its been a really long time since we hit the Highway...

We Will also be doing a Photo-shoot on the way since we need some good snaps to give to the press / make banners / posters etc....

Rider Mania 2007

Here are the details:

Dates: Jan 24th and 25th 2007

Venue: Asias largest Water Park 35 Kms from the City on NH7.

Participation: Rs.1500/head/2days [Inclusive of Entry, Food, Stay, T-Shirt, mementos and Beer].

Events: Loads of biking and non biking events. Skow races, DirtDrags, Tug of wars, Beer drinkers, Arm wrestling, 8's, Assembly warsand the customary RM Group ride through the City.

The price/head factor might go down in event of more sponsorersstepping in and participation rate increasing.

Full security and safe deposit lockers for valuables at the venue!!!

Huge concrete parking big enough for 1000 Bikes and events happeningin the same place!!!

Nagpur weather in Jan is very pleasant. Slight Sunny during the dayand about 5-7 Deg C at night!!!

A DJ will be playing Biker Songs/Music both days followed by a Rockband each night. Expect no dance music:) It's gonna be Beer Dikin',Hell Raisin', Rubber Smokin', Bitch Slappin', Hard Ridin' ROCK ANDROLL;)

ROYAL ENFIELDS RETURN TO THE RACE TRACK

As a part of other events being run along with the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship the track will now reverberate to the sound of the thundering Royal Enfields. The Royal Enfields are returning to the tracks on such an occasion after over a decade. Participate in this special moment.

Dates – 2 -3 /September/06

Classes – separate classification for 350 and 351 and above (500, 535)cc Royal Enfield bikes – concurrent practice and races

Documentation required – entry form – forms available here, also copy of valid bike registration and insurance papers and valid driving license

Modifications allowed – do the extra bit to make your bike go faster

mandatory requirements – removal of side and center stands and all types of guards and extra fittings, lights may be removed but if in place they should be taped to avoid splinters in case of a fall. Foot levers must have rubber covers, tyres must be in good condition with minimum thread depth. No retreaded tyres allowed. Spokes must be taught and brakes in good working condition.

Mandatory riding gear – full face helmet, full leather gloves, riding suit (jacket and pants) of denim or other thicker material, preferably leather and leather boots that cover the ankle.

Introduction

“V40”
“No Boundaries”

Introduction:
V40 welcomes only core competence of the members.

Members:
Every Member is expected to have a Royal Enfield bike of his or her own. 100 points to be accumulated by every member and an overnight ride with the group is mandatory to become eligible for a full fledged membership of the group.

Bike:
Royal Enfield pushroders are the expected bikes here. Members are expected to keep their bikes in very good motorable shape, so that break-downs during the rides are minimal. Just in case a bike break downs and the group is held up on account of that during a ride, the respective member shall sponsor ‘chai’ etc at the next re-group point.

Recruit:
All people joining the club will be termed ‘Recruits’. A Rider can stay as a recruit for as long as he/she wishes, subject to meeting the expressed or implied guidelines of the Club.

Points:
10 points – for every meeting attended.
20 points – for every over night ride with the club (Unavoidable to become a member initially)

Eligibility to become a Full Member:
All recruits must accumulate 100 points to become a full fledged Member. Points accumulated must include atleast one overnight ride.

His/Her Membership must also be proposed by one member, seconded by another and agreed to by all other existing members in the club. In case there is objection from 3 or more. The recruit doesn’t become a V40 member.
